Description

Job Title: X-Ray Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location:Columbia, SC 29204

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00)

Required:

Experience: 1+ years of experience as an X-Ray Tech
Certifications:
- ARRT (R) – Registered Radiologic Technologist
- BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA or equivalent)
- SCQRSA – South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association License
- Radiation badge provided by agency (MUSC does NOT provide badges)
Preferred:
- Fluoroscopy studies and C-Arm experience
- Previous experience in a teaching hospital or outpatient settings
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
- Experience with abdomen/GI and trauma imaging

Skills & Experience:

Proficient in a variety of radiology techniques, including but not limited to:
- Abdomen/GI: Abdomen upright, decubitus, KUB
- Upper Extremity: Shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, and trauma imaging
- Lower Extremity: Knee, ankle, femur, tibia-fibula
- Spine & Pelvis: Cervical spine, lumbar spine, pelvis
- Chest & Thorax: Routine chest, lateral decubitus, soft tissue neck
- Fluoroscopy: Upper GI, barium swallow, contrast enema, arthrography
