CT Technologist – Riverton Campus | Job Summary Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT examinations using appropriate imaging equipment. Responsibilities include verifying patient identity, reviewing medical records for exam appropriateness, obtaining and updating patient history, and assessing risk factors such as medications, pregnancy, or psychological considerations. The technologist explains procedures thoroughly, including risks, benefits, alternatives, and expected effects of administered pharmaceuticals. Duties include setting up equipment, acquiring quality images, reviewing images, documenting any deviations from protocol, and communicating relevant findings to the radiologist. The technologist must be able to recognize and respond to medical emergencies, provide post-procedure instructions, and participate in quality improvement initiatives (patient flow, repeat-reject analysis, satisfaction, etc.). This role may also provide education to residents, student technologists, and newly hired staff. Call/standby duties may be required. Radiologic Technologist responsibilities may also be performed as needed. Facility Requirements (Riverton Campus) ARRT certifications required: CT & Radiology (must be attached to submission) BLS (AHA only) (must be attached to submission) Experience: Minimum 2 years recent CT & Radiology experience; must be able to work independently Equipment: Must be familiar with GE CT & X-ray systems Schedule: Typical 12-hour day shifts, 6:00am – 6:00pm, Thursday–Saturday Documentation Required: SageWest coversheet must be attached Location: Riverton Campus REQUIRED SUBMISSION TEMPLATE Any submission without this completed template will be rejected.
