Description
Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Florence, SC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day – 5×8-hour shifts (08:00–16:30), call required
Job Responsibilities:
Perform cardiac catheterization procedures, electrophysiology (EP) studies, and interventional cardiac/vascular procedures.
Support EP procedures including monitoring, pacing, and ablation (“pace and burn”).
Assist with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), Shockwave, CSI, Impella insertion, and balloon pump procedures.
Circulate for all Cath Lab and EP cases and scrub when needed, maintaining sterile technique.
Respond to STEMI call requirements and participate in weekday/weekend on-call rotation.
Float to the EP Lab as needed within scope.
Utilize Siemens and GE equipment and work within diagnostic cardiac cath and interventional environments.
Provide patient care to adult populations in high-acuity settings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 1 year Cath Lab and EP experience
Experience monitoring, pacing, and performing ablation support
Experience with PCI, Shockwave, CSI, Impella, and balloon pump
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS
ARRT(R) with state licensure or CCI RCIS with state licensure
Radiation safety badge required (must be provided by traveler/agency)
Technical Skills:
GE Innova IGS and Siemens equipment experience
Ability to circulate in all Cath Lab and EP cases
On-Call Requirements:
Weekday and weekend call rotation (approx. 2 weekends/month)
Must be able to respond within 30 minutes when on call
