Requirements

Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Prior travel experience required
- Must be able to manage high-acuity patients
Certifications:
- BLS – required
- ACLS – required
- NRP – required
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring – class must be taken and passed
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring – preferred
- EFM certification – preferred
Education:
- Degree must show accreditation on profile
- If not, must have 5 years of experience
Scheduling Requirements:
- Call required: 12 hours within a 6-week scheduling period
- All RTO or schedule requests must be submitted with profile
- Facility will not approve RTO or changes after submission
- UNIT CANNOT ACCOMMODATE ANY MORE HOLIDAY RTO
Float Requirements:
- Floating required
- Travelers are first to float
- Possible floating to sister campuses
Ratios:
- 1–2:1
EMR:
- Epic
Scrub Color:
- Galaxy Blue and/or White
Radius Rule:
- Must live 50+ miles from GCMC permanent address
Culture Expectations:
- Travelers are welcomed and expected to function as core staff
Documentation Deadline:
- Hard document deadline: Monday prior to start
- No exceptions for pending documents
Interview/Offer Process:
- HWL Clinical Interview and Offer
