Description
RN - Wound Care
Location: 451 Clarkson Avenue, Kings County Hospital Brooklyn 11203
Shift Time: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Requirement:
Two (2) years of Med/Surg experience. -Wound and Colostomy experience.
Required Education:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Primary Source Verification of RN license and registration through the New York State Department of Education (NYSED).
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current certification in one of the following wound care specialties:
- Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) – WOCNCB
- Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) – WOCNCB
- Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) – WOCNCB
- Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) – American Board of Wound Management (ABWM)
- Wound Care Certified (WCC) – National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO)
