Description

RN - Wound Care

Location: 451 Clarkson Avenue, Kings County Hospital Brooklyn 11203

Shift Time: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Requirement:

Two (2) years of Med/Surg experience. -Wound and Colostomy experience.

Required Education:

Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Primary Source Verification of RN license and registration through the New York State Department of Education (NYSED).
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Current certification in one of the following wound care specialties:
- Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) – WOCNCB
- Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) – WOCNCB
- Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) – WOCNCB
- Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) – American Board of Wound Management (ABWM)
- Wound Care Certified (WCC) – National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO)
