Job Description – RN, MS/Tele Float

Start Date: Typically 3–4 weeks out (per compliance tier)
Shift Ratios:

Days/Weekends: 1:5–6
Nights: 1:6

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
First-Time Travelers: Yes
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or at least 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule (Saturday/Sunday). Holiday rotation required.
Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS; must be able to start IVs and read telemetry
Certifications Preferred: NIH
On-Call: Not required

Floating: Yes

Will float to all Med-Surg units, including renal, oncology, and neuro
If pre-assigned to a specific unit for any portion of the contract, the unit and timeframe will be communicated in advance
Float pool staff call a recorded line up to 1 hour before shift start to receive their unit assignment
