Job Details

• Setting: Correctional / Detention Facility
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 2nd Shift, 8-hour shifts (weekday and weekend rotation)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required for ICE clearance
• Clearance: Candidates subject to background and credit investigation; expedited ICE clearance process in place
• Travel Experience: Not required

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical area
• Experience: Minimum 5 years clinical experience, including 2 years in a comparable role
• License: Current and active California LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license (required prior to start)
• Other: Valid driver’s license preferred
• Minimum Age: 18+

Certifications

• LPC / LCSW (Required)
• BLS (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health screenings and assessments for inmates
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations
• Provide ongoing counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention as needed
• Document all assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in EMR
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and protected health information
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address patient needs and ensure continuity of care
