Description

Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)
Location: Bend, OR
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 3×12-hour shifts (07:00–19:00)

Responsibilities:

Assist surgical teams in a variety of specialty procedures, including general surgery, orthopedics, trauma, neurosurgery, gynecology, plastics, ENT, vascular, urology, robotics, and pediatrics (within scope).
Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures.
Support surgeons with complex cases such as craniotomy, orthopedic trauma, motor vehicle accident injuries, and total joint replacements.
Ensure equipment care, sterilization, and proper handling of scopes, fiber optics, and instrumentation.
Follow universal protocols, isolation precautions, sharps safety, and laser safety guidelines.
Participate in call rotation: two weeknights every 6 weeks and one full weekend (days or nights) every 1.5 months.
Work in a high-volume environment with 16 operating rooms.
Care for patients across adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
