Job Description: CT Technologist – Travel Assignment

Location

Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital – Roanoke, Virginia

Assignment Details

Specialty: CT Tech
Start Date: December 22, 2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12-Hour, Friday–Sunday (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.)
- Flexibility: Start time may vary between 7:00–9:00 a.m. with notice
On Call Requirement: None
Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work or take call for one holiday per contract (rotation with staff)
Call Off Policy: Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks
Locals: Not accepted (radius rule applies)
First-Time Travelers: Not accepted
License: Virginia state license required; emergency authorization available for active licenses while permanent VA license processes

Required Certifications

BLS
ARRT(R)
Preferred: ARRT(CT)

Required Clinical Skills

Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
Radiation safety

Charting System

Epic (required)
Siemens experience (required)

Unit Details and Floating

Primary assignment at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital
May float to Carilion Clinic Riverside (3 Riverside Circle, Roanoke, VA), located approximately half a mile from facility

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years of CT Tech experience
Strong proficiency with Siemens imaging systems and Epic charting
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage patient care efficiently
