Job Description: Critical Care Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment

Assignment Details

• Specialty: Critical Care (ICU)
• Profession: Registered Nurse
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week
• Unit Size: 20 beds
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Floating: Required to PCU as needed
• Dress Code: Personal scrubs, any color
• Holiday Coverage: Must work two of the following:
  • Thanksgiving and Friday/weekend after
  • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and Friday/weekend after
  • New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and Friday/weekend after
• Locals: Not accepted (must reside outside 50-mile radius)
• On Call: None
• Weekend Coverage: Required

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of current Critical Care experience
• Willingness to float to PCU
• Experience with ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• BSN preferred
• TNCC preferred
• Must have own vehicle

Required Certifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS

State License Requirements

• Massachusetts RN license must be in-hand at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)
