What You Will Do

• Provide comprehensive critical care nursing for cardiovascular ICU patients using best practice and nursing process
• Perform patient assessments, manage ventilators, cardiac monitoring, post-op cardiac care, and cardiac-specific interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient care, including physicians, perfusion, cardiology, and support staff
• Administer medications, manage hemodynamics, and monitor stability of post-op cardiovascular and critically ill patients
• Lead and delegate tasks to support staff as needed; support high standards of safety and quality

Candidate requirements

• Valid RN license (state applicable for assignment)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• ICU or critical care experience preferred; cardiac ICU experience a plus
• Comfortable working night shifts and providing complex ICU-level care
• Professional approach to patient care, strong clinical judgment, and teamwork
