A travel opportunity is now open for an experienced Telemetry RN seeking a night shift assignment in Odessa, Texas. This contract is ideal for someone with strong cardiac monitoring experience and a background in progressive care or telemetry settings.

Schedule

• Full-time travel contract

Estimated Pay

• Weekly: $2,146
• Hourly equivalent: $59-$60/hr

Requirements

• Active RN license eligible for practice in Texas or compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year telemetry experience within the last 18 months
• Strong experience with cardiac monitoring and progressive care patient management

Position Overview

The Telemetry RN is responsible for monitoring, assessing, and treating patients requiring continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring and acute care. This role requires strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to respond quickly to patient condition changes during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips accurately
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Provide direct patient care while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes according to policy
• Delegate and coordinate care with support staff as appropriate
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient stability and recovery
