Description

Title: RRT – NICU
Location: Tarzana, CA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12 (18:30–07:00)

Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements:

Provide neonatal respiratory care within a NICU setting.
Perform airway management procedures: extubation, intubation assist, nasal/oral airway placement, suctioning, sputum collection, and tracheostomy care.
Administer and manage oxygen therapy: bag and mask, ET tube, HFNC, oxygen tanks, and trach collar.
Utilize nebulizers (heated) and respiratory care equipment.
Manage non-invasive and invasive ventilation: BiPAP, CPAP, nasal CPAP/BiPAP, bubble CPAP, oscillating ventilators, ventilator troubleshooting, and ventilator weaning.
Work with neonatal/pediatric respiratory equipment and procedures.
Required certifications: BLS, NRP, RRT.
Minimum 1 year of experience required.
Experience with any charting system accepted.
Primary work setting: NICU.
