Description

📌 Job Description – CT Technologist

⏰ Shift Details

Shift: 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Shift Type: Days
Hours: 36 hrs/week

Key Responsibilities

Perform CT scans following established protocols and physician orders.
Operate Siemens CT scanners (Definition & X-Cite – 128 slice).
Ensure proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality.
Start IVs and administer contrast as required.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members.
Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with facility standards.
Troubleshoot basic equipment and workflow issues.

📌 Unit Description

Trauma Level: Level II
Equipment:
- 2 Siemens CT Scanners
  - Definition (128 slice)
  - X-Cite (128 slice)

📄 Required Experience & Certifications

ARRT (CT) – Required
TMB License (Texas Medical Board) – Required
BLS Certification – Required
Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred (Exp. Req.: 1)
