Travel RN Opportunity – ICU

Location: Kennewick, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Facility & Unit Overview

  • Located in southeastern Washington, serving the Tri-Cities area (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland)
  • 111-bed teaching hospital
  • ICU Unit: 2nd Floor, Medical ICU with minimal cardiac cases
  • Number of ICU beds: 14
  • Patient ratio: 1:2, CN free of patients
  • Equipment: Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) occasionally used
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Paragon
  • Patient population: Sepsis, respiratory issues, some cardiac and trauma cases

Position Details

  • Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Specialty
  • Shift: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
  • Weekend hours: Every other weekend
  • Call requirements: None
  • Number of openings: 1

Requirements

  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • Experience: 1-2 years minimum, with at least 1 year ICU experience preferred
  • Preferred skills: Medical ICU experience, TNCC certification
  • Personality fit: Team-oriented, accountable to best practices
