Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Key responsibilities include:

• Demonstrating critical thinking skills and scientific judgment.
• Planning for safe delivery of care.
• Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel.

Position Details

• Shift: Night Shift (7 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Floating Requirement: Must be willing to float between departments and the following facilities:

  • Northwest Medical Center
  • Oro Valley Hospital
  • Northwest Houghton
  • Northwest Sahuarita

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years
• Work Schedule: Must work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Licensure: Arizona RN license required

Additional Information

• Patient-to-nurse ratio: 6:1
• Shift length: 3 shifts of 12 hours each
• Facility may consider a 48-hour guarantee.
