Job Description
The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating critical thinking skills and scientific judgment.
- Planning for safe delivery of care.
- Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
- Providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel.
Position Details
- Shift: Night Shift (7 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Floating Requirement: Must be willing to float between departments and the following facilities:
- Northwest Medical Center
- Oro Valley Hospital
- Northwest Houghton
- Northwest Sahuarita
Requirements
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years
- Work Schedule: Must work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Licensure: Arizona RN license required
Additional Information
- Patient-to-nurse ratio: 6:1
- Shift length: 3 shifts of 12 hours each
- Facility may consider a 48-hour guarantee.
