Description

Title: Ultrasound Tech – General
Location: Greensboro, NC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 3x12 (07:00–19:30), Friday–Sunday

Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements:

Perform a wide range of general ultrasound studies including abdomen, renal, small parts, GYN, limited OB (viability), and limited vascular (liver doppler, renal transplants).
Assist with procedures such as biopsies, FNAs, drain placements, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and ultrasound-assisted procedures in the OR (D&C, D&E, tandem ring placements, prostate biopsies).
Perform portable exams and work across multiple settings, including adult and pediatric patient populations.
Required experience in community hospital settings; minimum 1 year (2 years preferred).
Must be comfortable floating between campuses and working independently at certain times.

Required Certifications:

BLS
ARDMS AB
ARDMS or ARRT(S)
Experience with PACS and InteleRad PACS
