Description

RN-Wound Care || Boon, NC

Shift: 5 x 8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00). Weekdays; holidays within contract.

Experience: 2 years of experience required
Certs required: BLS; WOCN certification; BSN

Skills required:

Ability to assess and analyze wounds, considering factors like size, depth, color, and surrounding tissue health
Proficiency in selecting and applying appropriate wound dressings.
Knowledge of various wound care techniques, including debridement and irrigation
Ability to educate patients and their families on proper wound care techniques and prevention strategies
Accurate and thorough documentation of wound assessments, treatments, and patient responses
Knowledge of pain management techniques related to wound care, including the use of analgesics
Expertise in caring for patients with ostomies, including assessment, appliance application, and patient education
Skills in managing patients with continence issues, including assessment and implementation of appropriate interventions.
EMR - EPIC (recent experience/proficiency is required)
