Description

Must have previous traveler experience. 

Shift: Nights 19-0730

Top Diagnosis/Procedures: RDS,hypoglycemia, prematurity, r/o sepsis, TTN

Speical Procedures done on unit: Circumcisions, picc line remove, help with LP, help eye exams

Common Medications: Iron, vitiman infusion, caffiene, antibiotics

Common Equipment: ventilators, giraffe beds, feeding pumps, iv pumps,

May be required to float depending on census - float to MCH, postpartdum, newborm nursey, float to be a sitter for the house

 

Required/Preferred Skills

Line Management/Skills:

  • Required: IV Insertion, PICC/Central Line Management, A-Line Management

Airway Skills:

  • Required: CPAP/BiPAP, Ventilators
