Description
Ultrasound Technologist
Location: 900 23rd Street NW Washington DC 20037
Shift: 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. FRI - SUN (Weekend shift)
Description:
Must live 50 miles away
Requirements:
High School Graduate or equivalent required.
Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.
BS or MS in Healthcare preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Ultrasound Technologist required.
Experience as a Lead preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) Ultrasound Tech license required.
Performs health care services utilizing Ultrasound to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease states.
Performs ultrasound procedures and uses related techniques, producing images for interpretation by the Radiologist.
Maintains appropriate records as required by regulatory and accreditation agencies. Performs required equipment quality control procedures and reports deficiencies to supervisor.
