Travel RN Opportunity - Labor & Delivery / Postpartum

Job Details

• Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Patient Ratio:

  • Laboring Patient: 1:1
  • Postpartum: 1:3 (Mom/3 Babies)
• Number of Beds: 5
• EMR System: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Turquoise
• Call: May be required
• Scheduling: No 48-hour shifts, block scheduling possible upon request
• Floating: Not allowed
• Return to Office (RTO): Max 1 week, blackout on 12/31; must include RTO with submission and make up at end of contract
• Travel Distance Requirement: Must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Tennessee RN License
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Travel experience preferred
• Certifications:

  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • STABLE
• Required to work Christmas Eve or Christmas Night

Role Scope

• Provide direct and indirect patient care addressing psychosocial, physical, developmental, and general care needs
• Meet communication needs of patients and families
• Communicate changes in patient condition, diagnostic test results, and symptomology to physicians
