Job Description: Pharmacist I 
Department: Pharmacy – THE MOUNT SINAI HOSPITAL (Annenberg B2)
Location:New York, NY 10029
Schedule: NIGHT 4 days/week | 10-hour shifts | 10 PM – 8 AM
Day or Evening | 8 x 5
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Required Skills & Competencies

• Accurate and efficient medication dispensing.
• Strong knowledge of formulary processes and medication management.
• Proficiency in dose adjustment and therapeutic recommendations using evidence-based literature.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clinicians, patients, and staff.
• Competency in patient counseling and medication education.
• Ability to work in high-acuity areas (critical care, oncology, transplant, peds, cardiac).
• Chemo preparation experience required.
• Ability to float to multiple specialty units as needed.

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
• 0–2 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist.
• Active Pharmacist license in New York State (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
