DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Rochester, NY
Start Date: January 6, 2026
Shift: Day Shift, 3x12 hours
Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend
License Requirement: NY RN License in hand – Mandatory

Required Certifications:

NY RN License (Active and in-hand)
BLS (Basic Life Support)

Core Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to dysrhythmias
Utilize Rapid Response and Code teams as needed
Administer respiratory care including oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management
Perform IV therapy and peripheral line care/phlebotomy
Adhere to isolation precautions and infection control standards
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to provide quality patient care

Preferred Skills:

Cardiac monitoring and emergency response*
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias*
Experience with rapid response/code teams*
Knowledge of professional topics and specialized skills*
