Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP
Location: Rio Rancho, NM
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, Days shift, on-site within 20 miles of local locations
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments according to unit standards and document on appropriate data bases or assessment flow sheets
• Initiate, utilize, and document protocols and standards of care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or established protocols, and document accordingly
• Respond competently in emergency situations
• Assist with procedures, treatments, and surgical techniques or delegate to other healthcare team members as appropriate
• Uphold professional responsibility by maintaining current nursing standards of care and clinical protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of current experience in a related specialty
• Valid nursing license in New Mexico or a Compact State
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from recognized providers such as the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• EPIC electronic health record experience (training available)
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment.
