Travel RN ICU

Location: Glen Falls, New York

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Critical Care Unit (CCU).
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and manage life-support equipment.
• Float to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed to ensure optimal patient care coverage.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and patient privacy protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• EPIC Electronic Health Record Experience: Mandatory – must be clearly specified on your profile.
• Minimum of 3 years ICU/CCU experience required.
• Total RN experience: Minimum of 5 years.
• Travel Experience: Required.
• Reliability to drive: Must possess own vehicle.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • Current, valid NY RN license.
  • Driver License must match permanent address (included in profile).
  • BLS and ACLS certifications – current and uploaded.
• EPIC proficiency: Explicitly noted on your profile.
• Compliance Requirements:
  • Completed 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance (must include all specified substances).
  • Completed training from one of the following agencies for onboarding and clearance:
    • Welle (welletraining.com)
    • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) (crisisprevention.com)
  • COVID-19 vaccinations encouraged but not mandatory.
• Profile must include:
  • Valid, permanent address matching driver’s license/state ID (will be validated).
  • Resume and skills checklist current within the past year.
  • Signed supervisor reference from within the last two years.

Additional Important Information:

• RTO Requests: No more than 5 days of Requests to Occupy (RTO) will be approved; please plan accordingly.
• Dress Code: Personal scrubs (any color, no designs or cartoons). No hoodies allowed.
• Scheduling: We cannot accommodate scheduling requests or accommodations.
