Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist CCC | Thursday to Monday | 5x8 |

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Job Summary

A travel Speech Language Pathologist with CCC is needed for a full-time assignment working five 8-hour shifts per week. This role supports patients requiring speech, swallowing, and cognitive rehabilitation. The caseload includes general medical, stroke, neuro, bedside, and orthopedic patients, with some exposure to NICU. The ideal candidate is confident working independently and managing a variety of patient needs in a hospital environment.

Thursday through Monday
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Full-time assignment

Requirements

CCC required
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
Valid state SLP license or compact equivalent
BLS certification from AHA
Prior experience with swallowing evaluations, cognitive therapy, and adult acute care required

Patient Population

General medical
Stroke
Neuro
Ortho
Bedside therapy
Primarily adults with occasional cross-coverage for NICU integration

Role Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations
Develop individualized patient treatment plans
Document patient progress following professional standards
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and care planning
Provide patient, staff, and family education as needed
Support performance improvement initiatives and department workflow
