Department: CT Tech Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT), North Dakota State License Process: Profile Review + Manager Interview Department Overview # of Scanners: 2 Siemens 64-slice Siemens 40-slice with Fluoro capabilities Patient Types: Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Common Studies: CTA, Biopsies, Stroke Imaging, Coronary CTA Average Daily Volume: ~45 scans Float Requirements May float to transport or assist with patient care in other departments May float to other radiology areas if certified Job Duties Perform CT imaging on a wide range of patient types Assist with biopsies and drains (preferred experience) Perform IR-related tasks (preferred) Start IVs (required; willingness to learn accepted) Use EPIC and department PACS Maintain patient safety and assist radiologists as needed Required / Preferred Skills Preferred: Biopsies Drains IR experience Stroke imaging Must Be: A strong team player Self-motivated, reliable, and able to take initiative Easy to get along with; collaborative Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Staffing / Support Supervisor on Days: Yes Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA): No Radiologist on-site: Mon–Fri, 08:00–16:30 After hours: Teleradiology Shifts & Scheduling 8-Hour Shifts: 06:30–15:00 07:30–16:00 12-Hour Shifts: 07:00–19:00 08:00–20:30 19:00–07:00 Schedule created by coordinator and supervisor. Weekend & Holiday Requirements Weekends: Every other weekend or every third weekend (12-hour shifts) Holidays: Required Call Requirements None (No call or standby) Dress Code Any color scrubs permitted Scrubs not provided Orientation 1 week of department-specific orientation Radius & Compliance Requirements Must live 50+ miles from the facility Candidates cannot be FT/PT/PRN with any CommonSpirit facility (includes CHI & Dignity) RTO: Must be submitted upfront Max 7 days per 13-week contract No additional RTO allowed post-submission Updated: 2/21/2024
