Description
MUST HAVE LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance, traveler has 2 attempts. if failed, RN will be DNU within CS AZ and Sac Region for 6 months
All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED. NyICU only has to do Foley catheter insertion. ED does Foley catheter insertion but does port-a-cath insertion instead of central line dressing change
Unit: CTICU/CVICU - # beds: 24 - Certs: BLS, ACLS. CCRN preferred. ICU experience only, CVICU preferred. - Ratios: 1:1-2. High number of 1:1. - EMR: Cerner - Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. - Nurse Aides: 2 PCTs days and nights with high census. - Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts in 4 week schedule
Nights 12hr shifts, 4 total weekend shifs per 4 weeks, holidays based on unit coverage
