Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3x12s Nights (36 hours/week)
Pay: $16/hr + $1,050 weekly stipend = $1,626 weekly gross

Position Overview

We’re seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a correctional facility in Lovington, New Mexico. This role offers a fast-paced, secure environment where you’ll provide essential medical care to an underserved population. Ideal candidates are adaptable, dependable, and comfortable working independently within a team of medical and correctional staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments under physician or RN supervision
• Perform patient assessments, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
• Document care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies
• Support physicians during sick calls and medical emergencies
• Maintain infection control and safety standards within the correctional setting

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (NM or Compact State)
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of LPN - Corrections experience required
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to correctional protocols
