Job Title: RN -Telemetry

Location: Savannah, GA, 31405

Job Type: 13-week + extensions

Shift Time: 12 hr Nights

Shift Schedule: 36 hrs/week; 12 hrs/day and 3 days in a week

Job Start: 01/05/2025

Position Summary:

The Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing specialized care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced telemetry unit. The RN interprets cardiac rhythms, responds promptly to changes in patient condition, and collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
  • Identify and respond to arrhythmias or abnormal cardiac patterns.
  • Perform ongoing patient assessments and document findings.
  • Evaluate patients' responses to treatments and medications.
  • Provide care for patients with cardiac conditions, post-operative status, stroke, respiratory issues, etc.
  • Administer medications safely (oral, IV, injections).
  • Titrate cardiac drips as per physician orders (depending on facility policy).
  • Monitor for medication side effects and report concerns.

     

Required Experience:

Must have a minimum of 2 years Med/Tele experience
