<h2><strong>Job Duties</strong></h2><ul><li>Perform screening and diagnostic mammography and stereotactic procedures per MQSA/ACR standards.</li><li>Operate mammography equipment safely; set exposure factors; ensure two patient identifiers.</li><li>Review requisitions, prior images, and radiologist reports; update orders if needed.</li><li>Educate patients on exam process; obtain accurate history; refer to NP when required.</li><li>Position patients, monitor safety/comfort, and produce quality images.</li><li>Evaluate images for technical quality and completeness; upload to PACS and burn CDs as needed.</li><li>Perform DEXA scans (spine, hip, forearm) and maintain bone density QC records.</li><li>Complete all required MQSA/ACR quality control tests and documentation.</li><li>Maintain equipment, report malfunctions, and manage supply inventory.</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and data management for mammography and DEXA.</li><li>Ensure compliance with infection control, radiation safety, and departmental policies.</li></ul><h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>ARRT certified (Radiography)</li><li>Massachusetts Radiology &amp; Mammography license</li><li>Current BLS</li></ul>
