Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and confident Emergency Room Charge Nurse to provide leadership, coordination, and clinical support during night shift operations. This role requires strong critical care decision-making skills and the ability to manage fast-paced emergency situations while directing nursing staff and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as Charge Nurse during night shift
Coordinate patient flow and staff assignments
Oversee emergency department operations
Ensure clinical standards and safety protocols are met
Support nursing staff and assist with direct patient care as needed
Communicate with multidisciplinary teams for continuity of care

Required Qualifications

Active California RN license
Minimum 4 years of nursing experience
Previous Charge Nurse experience required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Proof of negative TB screening within the last 12 months
Must be willing to work night shifts
Bilingual not required

Additional Details

Holiday coverage required
