We’re looking for a Psych RN to join the Minnesota Department of Human Services in Alexandria, MN. This role supports adult mental health treatment in an inpatient behavioral health setting and works closely with a multidisciplinary team using trauma-informed and person-centered approaches.

You’ll participate in treatment planning, medication administration, crisis response, and supportive care for adults with mental health or substance use needs. This role includes day/evening rotation and weekend shifts, and may offer an extension after the initial contract.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years mental health and/or substance use disorder experience
• Active MN RN license

Schedule

• Full-time
• 10-hour shifts
• Day/Evening rotation
• Every weekend
• Shift times: 6:30a–5:00p and 12:00p–10:30p

Contract

• Start: January 7, 2026 (tentative)
• End: March 7, 2026
• Possible 13-week extension
