 Shift: 8 hour day shift, Description: Additional Information: Position Description: General Job duties:nursing staff. The Med-Surg Clinical Supervisor identifies education needs of individual staff members and/or the Med-Surg unit as a whole and plans and implements educational offerings. The Med-Surg Clinical Supervisor conducts performance reviews and collaborates with the Director to improve the overall performance of the Med-Surg department. The Med-Surg Clinical Supervisor oversees the orientation and precepteeships of new employees.Equipment:EPIC charting, Pyxis medication system, Vocera, Shift Wizard scheduling, etc.Required skills and minimum years of experience:3 years of Med Surg Nursing experience. 1 year of Nursing Leadership experience. Proficient acute care nursing knowledge & skills. Proficient management of patients in a Med Surg setting.Specific Licensures and certifications:State of Alaska RN license, BLSP from AHA, ACLS & PALS from AHA. Bed Size:38 beds on the Med Surg unit and 10 beds in the ECUShift requirements:M-F, Some variabilityDress Code:Business CasualComments: Monday - Friday; some variability Name of Position Requirements - 3 years of Med Surg Nursing experience. 1 year of Nursing Leadership experience. - AK RN License Position Ty Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week, Contract Weeks:91, Requirements: 3 years of Med Surg Nursing experience. 1 year of Nursing Leadership experience.; AK RN License;
