Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting, including diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assist with advanced cardiac procedures such as cardiac stent placements, device implantations, and catheterizations.
• Monitor patients during complex procedures, including TAVI/TAVR, IABP, Impella, and pacemaker insertions.
• Administer medications such as antiarrhythmics, vasopressors, and thrombolytics, and manage procedural sedation.
• Support post-procedure care and monitor patient recovery, focusing on infection prevention and complication management.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, proper documentation, and adherence to protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license at the time of application.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience in a Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting, including complex procedures such as PCI, pacemaker/ICD management, and TEE.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with transcatheter procedures like TAVI/TAVR.
• Familiarity with specialty equipment such as sheaths, IV infusion pumps, and blood products.
• Ability to interpret EKG/ECG and manage dysrhythmias.
• Strong understanding of infection control and procedural monitoring.
