Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ICU/CCU Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity Level II trauma center environment. The ideal candidate is a seasoned critical care professional with strong clinical judgment, prior travel experience, and proficiency in EPIC charting. This role requires adaptability, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. The RN will work in the ICU/CCU and must be willing to float to other units, including Med/Surg, as needed to support patient care demands.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU/CCU.
• Utilize EPIC for accurate charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Respond effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations.
• Float to additional units such as Med/Surg when required.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and evidence-based practices.

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be current)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/CCU experience
• Prior traveler experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR
• Ability to float to Med/Surg and other units as needed
• Holiday coverage required
• Must be eligible for W-2 employment through the agency

• Shift: NOC, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM start)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
