Travel CT/Xray Technologist- North Dakota

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Travel CT/X-Ray Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our diagnostic imaging team on a temporary assignment. The technologist will perform high-quality radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent patient care while working in diverse clinical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic examinations (X-rays) on patients in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, clinics, and outpatient centers.
• Prepare, position, and instruct patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the exam.
• Operate radiographic equipment to capture clear, accurate images for physician interpretation.
• Verify patient identification and exam requisitions before imaging.
• Maintain imaging equipment in optimal condition and report any technical malfunctions.
• Review and evaluate images for diagnostic quality before submission to radiologists.
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards, following all regulatory and facility policies.
• Accurately document patient information, procedures, and imaging results in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• License/Certification:
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
  • Current and valid state license for radiography (in the state of assignment).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an X-Ray Technologist in an acute care or clinical setting.
• Travel experience preferred but not required.
