Labor and Delivery RN – Travel Assignment (Day Shift)

Location: Clinton, MD Start Date: January 26, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-Hour Days (07:00 – 19:30) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN to join our team for a high-risk travel assignment. This role requires strong clinical expertise, adaptability, and the ability to provide compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Eligibility

• Locals within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate (contact AM for details).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• C-EFM certification must be in hand prior to start (hard stop).

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• NRP
• S.T.A.B.L.E.
• C-EFM

Preferred Certifications:

• AWHONN Advanced
• AWHONN Intermediate

Skills & Experience

• High-risk Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Skills: Circulate, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), preceptor and/or charge responsibilities.
• Triage experience preferred.
• Ability to float within skillset (Mom/Baby, Postpartum, etc.).

Scheduling Requirements

• 36 hours per week (3x12s, 07:00–19:30).
• Call required: 36 hours in 6 weeks or 12 hours per pay period (must be on premises within 45 minutes of receiving call).
• Every other weekend required.
• Every other holiday required.
