Travel RN Corrections

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights 6:45pm to 7:15am (Every other weekend and rotating holidays)
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver individualized nursing care based on patient needs, provider directives, and approved nursing standards.
• Document and evaluate patient care activities accurately and promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor patients’ physical and mental health conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to appropriate healthcare providers.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and security procedures within a correctional environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and effective treatment plans.
• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and compassion in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, required.
• At least one year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, with the physical capability to lift 250-300 pounds and push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance.

• Correctional healthcare setting demanding high adaptability and resilience.
• Must be comfortable working in a secure, fast-paced environment with safety protocols in place.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including mobility and manual handling.
