Job Description: Travel CT Technologist

Location

Arlington, VA

Position Overview

We are seeking an ARRT Registered CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This role requires strong technical expertise, flexibility, and the ability to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures. Candidates must be able to verify a Virginia license application prior to start.

Start Date: December 29, 2025 (ASAP start accepted)
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Weekend Days, Friday–Sunday (07:00 AM – 07:00 PM)
Block Scheduling: Available
Rooms: 3
Visits per Day: Approximately 130
Scrub Color: Grey
Charting System: Epic (online Epic class provided on Day 1)
Flu Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31). Exemptions must comply with CMS guidelines.

Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, musculoskeletal trauma, brain perfusion, vascular CTA, and multiplanar reconstruction
Start peripheral IVs and administer contrast as required
Operate GE or Siemens scanners and utilize PACS systems
Ensure accurate documentation and patient safety throughout procedures
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging
Adhere to hospital policies and compliance standards

Qualifications

ARRT Registered CT Technologist (required)
Virginia license or proof of application with active license from another state
Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
BLS certification required
Experience with GE or Siemens scanners and PACS systems
Epic experience preferred (training provided)
First-time travelers accepted

Certifications

Required: ARRT (R)(CT), ARRT CT, BLS, VA license (temporary accepted with proof of application)
