Key Responsibilities
• Plan and implement individualized treatment programs based on Occupational Therapy principles.
• Evaluate and treat patients using a variety of therapeutic interventions to support rehabilitation of functional, developmental, and occupational disorders.
• Oversee comprehensive rehabilitation plans that address physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and environmental well-being.
• Promote patient and caregiver self-determination by utilizing external resources to achieve maximum independence.
• Communicate and coordinate care efforts with multidisciplinary teams involved in patient treatment.
• Assist in establishing discharge goals during initial assessments and throughout episodes of care.
• Provide therapy to both acute care inpatient and outpatient populations, primarily focusing on outpatient care.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Must hold a valid NM state Occupational Therapist license.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
• At least one 13-week travel assignment experience.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in all areas including Home Health Care (HHC), Outpatient (OP), and Acute.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• EPIC EMR experience (training available on-site).
• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy (preferred).
