The Radiologic Technologist I is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examination at a technical level not requiring constant supervision and performs all of the essential generic job functions as listed below.
Essential Generic Job Functions (List in order of importance):
-Produces diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients, providing immobilization devices, selection proper technical factors based on individual patient needs.  Select and operate equipment as required for specific procedures.
-Restricts radiation beam through cone and collimating devices to provide non-exposure of radiation to unaffected parts of the patient.
-Performs portable x-ray examinations in patient rooms, operating rooms and emergency room.

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
5 x 8 hr/week
No Weekend Requirement
No Holiday Requirement
No On-Call Requirement
Float Requirement: The primary reporting location for this position will be at the North Bergen office. Tech will be required to float to the Hackensack office to cover planned / unplanned PTO, or to assist during high volume days
Orthopedic office experience preferred

Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required
 

-Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
-Completion of clinical and A.R.R.T. requirements.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
-Must possess New Jersey State License.
