Description

Job Overview
A critical access hospital in Ganado, Arizona is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for an L&D RN who is clinically strong, adaptable, and comfortable practicing with a high level of autonomy in a rural setting.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients
  • Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
  • Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
  • Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
  • Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and families

Requirements

  • Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
  • Recent Labor & Delivery experience required
  • BLS certification required (additional certifications may be required)
  • Ability to work independently in a critical access hospital environment
