Job Overview
A critical access hospital in Ganado, Arizona is seeking an experienced Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift travel assignment. This role is well suited for a clinically solid RN who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a broad scope of responsibility in a rural hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and continuous cardiac monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Educate patients and families as appropriate
Requirements
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- Recent Med Surg and/or Telemetry experience required
- BLS certification required (additional certifications may be required)
- Ability to work independently in a critical access hospital environment
- Strong clinical judgment and time management skills
