Job Overview
A long-term care community in Decorah, Iowa is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an ASAP-start, 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for an LPN who prefers day shifts and enjoys providing consistent, hands-on care to a geriatric population in a supportive care environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes
Assist with activities of daily living and support CNAs
Document care accurately and in a timely manner
Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary care teams
Ensure resident safety and compliance with facility policies

Requirements

Active LPN license in Iowa or compact state (if applicable)
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Ability to work variable day shifts
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
