Description

Role: CT Technologist

Facility: Brigham & Women's Hospital(BWH)

Shift Timing: 11am-1130pm 12x3 Days

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred: 2–3 years CT technologist experience.
Must hold and maintain ARRT CT certification (or equivalent).
Must be a graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology,
Current Massachusetts State RT license, and be registered by ARRT (or equivalent).
BLS

General Responsibilities:

Operate CT equipment (scanner, power injector, laser printer, monitoring devices) to obtain diagnostic images following departmental protocol.
Select correct imaging factors and image designated anatomy accurately.
Explain exam to patients considering physical and emotional needs; maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
Deliver patient care within scope of training and licensure.
Maintain effective communication with radiology, nursing, and other hospital personnel.
Rotate between divisions and off-site clinics by shift; cooperate with staff to maintain harmonious environment.
Provide on-call availability and remain flexible for shift coverage and overtime.
