Description
Role: CT Technologist
Facility: Brigham & Women's Hospital(BWH)
Shift Timing: 11am-1130pm 12x3 Days
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferred: 2–3 years CT technologist experience.
- Must hold and maintain ARRT CT certification (or equivalent).
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology,
- Current Massachusetts State RT license, and be registered by ARRT (or equivalent).
- BLS
General Responsibilities:
- Operate CT equipment (scanner, power injector, laser printer, monitoring devices) to obtain diagnostic images following departmental protocol.
- Select correct imaging factors and image designated anatomy accurately.
- Explain exam to patients considering physical and emotional needs; maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Deliver patient care within scope of training and licensure.
- Maintain effective communication with radiology, nursing, and other hospital personnel.
- Rotate between divisions and off-site clinics by shift; cooperate with staff to maintain harmonious environment.
Provide on-call availability and remain flexible for shift coverage and overtime.
