Job Overview
A long-term care / assisted living community in Fort Madison, Iowa is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for an RN who is comfortable working night shifts and providing consistent, resident-focused care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care / assisted living setting
Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes
Coordinate care with LPNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Ensure resident safety and compliance with facility policies and procedures

Requirements

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state (if applicable)
Long-term care or assisted living experience preferred
Ability to work night shifts reliably
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills

Additional Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (variable)
Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Setting: Long-Term Care / Assisted Living
Location: Fort Madison, Iowa

13-week Travel RN assignment in a Long-Term Care / Assisted Living setting in Fort Madison, IA. Night shifts, 12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Active IA or compact RN license required. LTC/Assisted Living experience preferred.
