Description

Job Overview
A critical access healthcare setting in Staples, Minnesota is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a 20-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for an OT who is adaptable, comfortable working with a varied patient population, and values consistent, patient-centered care in a smaller community environment.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients across inpatient and outpatient settings as applicable
Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence
Address ADLs, IADLs, upper extremity function, and cognitive needs
Provide patient and caregiver education to support long-term outcomes
Complete accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations and progress notes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

Active Minnesota Occupational Therapist license
Experience in critical access, hospital-based, or outpatient settings preferred
Strong clinical judgment and adaptability
Ability to manage an independent caseload
Strong communication and documentation skills

Schedule: Variable day shifts
Shift Length: 8-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week
Setting: Critical Access Facility
Location: Staples, Minnesota

20-week Travel OT assignment in a critical access setting in Staples, MN. Variable day shifts, 8-hour shifts with 32 guaranteed hours per week. Active MN OT license required. Experience in hospital-based or outpatient settings preferred.
