Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care / ICU
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, high-quality critical care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and manage critically ill patients
- Monitor hemodynamics, ventilators, and complex medical equipment
- Administer and titrate IV medications, drips, and vasoactive agents as ordered
- Respond to rapid changes in patient condition and emergency situations
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary ICU teams
- Provide patient- and family-centered education and emotional support
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support patient safety, quality improvement, and compliance standards
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- Active RN license (GA State or Compact)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Recent ICU or critical care RN experience required
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and clinical judgment skills
- Experience with ventilators, drips, and invasive monitoring
- BLS required; ACLS required (CCRN preferred)
- Ability to function effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
