The Family Birthplace provides:

• Private labor and delivery rooms with subdued lighting
• Infant warmers and fetal monitoring equipment
• Dedicated ORs for Cesarean sections
• 24/7 anesthesia and delivery services

Nursing staff work closely with obstetricians and midwives to support individualized birth plans. Experienced OB nurses and lactation consultants provide hands-on education and support for both mother and baby.

Position Requirements

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of current Labor & Delivery experience
  • Postpartum / Mother-Baby experience required
• Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BSN or higher) required
• Licensure:
  • Active Massachusetts RN license
• Certifications (must be in hand at submission):
  • BLS (AHA)
  • NRP
  • STABLE
• Transportation:
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle

Schedule & Call

• On-Call: Yes (TBD)
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Holidays: Required if needed

Time Off & Scheduling (Strict Policy)

• All RTO must be submitted at time of upload
• No more than 3 days of RTO (less is preferred)
• RTO requests after submission will NOT be approved
• Scheduling requests after offer may result in a rescinded offer
